HUITZILIN (Nahuatl: Colibrí/ Hummingbird)

Esta ave era sagrada para las antiguas culturas mexicanas, para los Aztecas representaba al dios de la guerra Huitzilopochtli, y para los Mayas era un mensajero de los buenos pensamientos y deseos.

This bird was sacred to ancient Mexican cultures, to the Aztecs it represented the god of war Huitzilopchtli, and among the Mayans it was believed that it was a messenger  to good thoughts and desires.
